Good Grips is a mobile app prototype created for my BFA Thesis Project that serves to provide children with affordable prosthetic hands through the use of additive manufacturing technologies. Within the app, children and their parents can easily size a prosthetic hand through a guided fitting process, choose from customizable models, and order the final product all within the comfort of their home. Along with the in-app ordering process, parents can also stay informed on current news and community events in the "discover" section. Good Grips brings accessibility to 3D printing technologies, and allows parents to now provide children with a customizable and cost-effective solution for prosthetic hands.
